Do you know just how you always make me feel?
You make me feel alive and you make me feel unreal.
You make me feel like magic when magic cannot be,
And you make me feel so different, or perhaps just more like me?
You make me long for stories and places that don't exist,
You make me feel like sunrays when really I am mist.
You fill my head with gold and stars - and things never seen,
You make me feel just everything when I'm really stuck between.
You make things seem so clear, yet so confusing at the same time,
You make me dream of dreams and long for lives that can't be mine.
You make me burn like fire and like light you make me glow,
And I couldn't ever tell you and you wouldn't ever know.

This feels a bit different than the stuff I normally write, at least I think so, but I like this piece, maybe because it's different. Or maybe because I was just really inspired.
