"Master?"
Darth Vader turned towards the sound of her voice, surprised that he had not felt her presence before that moment. But there she was, the female Togruta, stepping slowly out of the shadows of the huge balcony, hesitation and disbelief mingled on her face. She had grown taller during the two years that had passed since they last met, her lekkus were longer and her montrals had grown as well, her entire body was more developed, though she was not yet fully matured. She was armed, he quickly noticed, a lightsaber and a shoto at her hips. He had clones inside the palace-like building, and around it as well, but he was not surprised to f
Innocent being,
So young and naive,
But you had power,
And we did believe,
That you would save us,
Would always be true.
Light up the darkness,
We counted on you.
You showed such promise,
You had a good heart,
But life can be painful,
And tear us apart.
With all that you faced,
All that you went through,
It made you darker,
Still we trusted in you.
But now this darkness,
It's etched on your face.
You were the angel-
Now fallen from grace.
If only I wasn't so blinded,
So blinded by your grace,
Then maybe when I close my eyes
I wouldn't see your face.
See your face and dream these dreams,
Where my life is simply magic.
When it really is not so,
Living life through dreams is tragic.
And yet I wouldn't stop,
'Cause these dreams make me feel so free.
Nothing real could compare,
Oh dreams, let me lose myself in thee.
You break me, make me ache,
Make me hurt like never before.
At the same time how I love you,
There's nothing else that I love more.
And through all of this heartache,
Through all these nights spent crying,
I wouldn't have it any other way,
Couldn't give up this love undying.
But oh, it makes me weary,
It does tear at my heart.
I love you with all that I am,
But I cannot stand being apart.
I hate seeing him like this, seeing all the pain he's in. And knowing the pain is because of me is unbearable; I can see in his eyes that he is thinking about me, it is almost as if I'm looking into a mirror when I look into his eyes. I wish I could make his pain go away. I wish I could tell him that I'm fine, that I'm okay now. But he can't feel my touch; he can't hear my voice. I think he can feel my presence, but I am not sure if that's good or bad. If I'm soothing him by my presence or if I'm deepening his pain.
I know what he's thinking about, I'm also thinking about it. I'm not quite sure how it happened. It went so quickly, so smoothl
Oh, my love,
You're my inspiration.
A ray of hope
For our earthly nation.
You give me peace
When I feel I'm breaking.
A champion
There's just no mistaking.
My guiding light,
Please know that we love you,
You give us strength,
You're helping us pull through.
And we fight on
Knowing that you do too.
You give us hope,
Together we will stay true.
I wish I knew what to say to you
To make you long for me,
To make you feel all that I feel,
To make you see what we could be.
I wish I could just look at you
And with that simple glance
You'd know all you need to know,
You'd give us that one chance.
I wish I could just make you see
That we'll always be just fine.
I wish my fingers could be magic
So that if I touched you you'd be mine.
Will I always live in your shadow?
You burn too bright to notice me.
Am I doomed to stay here forever?
Watching you, wondering what could be?
Lurking around here in the darkness,
Stealing glimpses before your light blinds me.
Is this as close as I can get to you?
Destined to wonder what could be?
Chained to these dark shadows,
My only hope is that you'll see me.
Or are you just as blinded as I am?
Cursed to never know what could be?
Oh Fire flaming beauty,
Your passion burns in me,
Desire and such heat,
But then, you never stop to see
Oh Water flowing liquid,
Your shifts I understand,
First calm and then you're raging,
But sometimes you're out of hand
Oh Earth grounded spirit,
So steady and so mild
You always know your place
But sometimes you go wild
Oh Air unseen magic,
Your winds live in my heart,
Where they blow I wish to follow,
But you cannot make me part
All pieces of the puzzle,
Each a different part,
You live on in all of us,
Oh, nature's work of art.
